Successful applicants will be sponsored for flight and hotel accommodation!

The ESIR institute courses aim to provide Interventional Radiologists and CIRSE members the possibility to get tutored hands on training. Programme and speaker are selected by the CIRSE Foundation and we are grateful to our industry partner providing the infrastructure of their institute including latest simulation technology.

Interventional Radiologists interested to attend this course are requested to apply by registering through the CIRSE website (www.cirse.org). All applications must include a short CV and a motivation letter.

Flight and hotel accommodation to attend this course will be funded by CCVI. The course is limited to 14 participants, early application is therefore recommended. First application period until October 16th.

Requirements for Interventional Radiologists from Europe and the Middle East:

In order to be eligible for the course you need to be a CIRSE member and fulfill the following criteria:

  • Work in a department which offers interventional procedures as a treatment to patients and will spend 1/3 to ½ of time performing endovascular procedures
  • Work in a department starting up an interventional program within the next 3 months after the course program and will spend 1/3 to ½ of time performing endovascular procedures
  • Experience performing diagnostic angio procedures as a plus
  • Have only limited experience with endovascular procedures and/or assisted at procedures
